As your teachers, we are here to support your inward journey by provided solid, safe instruction and information through the asanas, pranayama, relaxation and meditation. Your part of the commitment is simply presence. Committing to attending your class regularly will go a long way to relieve the tensions in your body, for cultivating a fertile ground for managing our distracted, sometimes over-active minds and opening doors to inner peace and spiritual growth. After the first step of choosing the class that suits you best comes the sometimes difficult task of carving out that time and space with loved ones and jobs that distract you from your practice. It can be difficult to say no to others in order to commit to your own process of self-care and growth. But it is important to remember that the more nurturing and loving we can be with ourselves, the better we can love and nurture others. It is exciting to imagine what our community could be if we all began with the simple commitment to our own process; to watch that grow and trickle out into the outer world. I think we'd all be smiling from the inside out!
